A little bit about Mrs. Hogan

Heather Hogan earned a B.S. in Education in 2001 from The University of Georgia. Her emphasis was in dance education, and she taught dance for over 20 years. She has taught middle school and high school electives and core classes. Mrs. Hogan does hold a certification to teach ELA in Georgia for grades 6-12. She is very excited to be in her Senior year of a B.A. in Forensic Psychology at Arizona State University.  Currently, she teaches AP Environmental Science, College Prep Environmental Science, AP Psychology, Psychology Elective, Forensic Science Elective, College and Career Exploration Elective, and 7th Grade Biology/Life Science. Heather also enjoys being the Drama Arts Coordinator as Director and Facilitator for One Act Competition. A new pursuit this upcoming year will be coaching Cheerleading! 
 
Mrs. Hogan lives in Athens with her husband, Erik, and two children, Ethan and Hazel. Both of her children have/are attending Monsignor Donovan Catholic School and they have received a stellar education here. She is very proud of their mini-zoo, which includes 2 dogs, 1 cat, and 2 tortoises. In her spare time she enjoys performing in community theater, singing in the church choir, spending time with family and friends, and traveling.
