A little bit about Mr. E
Mr. Enghauser has been teaching part-time at Donovan since 2009. Soon after arriving, the Ram Band
was established as an after-school club and has since become a major part of our Donovan experience.
Starting this year, Mr Enghauser will be devoted to Donovan full-time to create a general music program
and expand music education and performance opportunities for our students. Mr. Enghauser’s education
include a Bachelor of Music, and MM in Music Performance. Recent teaching positions include Adjunct
Professor of Music at Georgia College and Jacksonville State University in Alabama. An avid professional
performer on the double bass and electric bass for over 35 years, Chris has played with artists such
as Randall Bramblett, Chuck Leavell, and Jeff Coffin; regional orchestras including the Macon Symphony,
Augusta Symphony and Tuscaloosa Symphony; and jazz groups including the Carrollton Jazz Orchestra,
the Broad Street Jazz Band and countless small jazz ensembles.
